Chevrolet of Canada 1943 Cab 13 with full working Garwood recovery gear and winches.
Fully restored and original engine professionally rebuilt a few years ago (approx. 1000 miles).
I have owned the truck for nearly 5 years and continued with upgrades and routine maintenance throughout that time.
Work I’ve undertaken includes a complete new clutch, new rear brakes, master cylinder re-sleeve, tyres, electric fuel pump, lights, pivot bearings, reset springs, shackle pins etc. Photos of all work available.
To be sold with a range of recovery gear, including ground anchor, pins and rare suspended tow frame.
This CMP is a rare model, with only a limited number built and few still in roadworthy condition.
It is in very good condition, regular run on the road and showed at W&P and Capel. Recently featured in Dec 2018 CMV magazine.
I’ve had a lot of fun with the Chev, a highlight being to attend the 75th Anniversary commemorations in Dieppe, but as I now have restored a HUP it is time for the Wrecker to find a new home.
Currently in Surrey, and ready for inspection.
