The premier East Anglia Military and History event is back with an exciting new venue. A multi period and national living history and military event showing military history through the ages and of course historic military vehicles that are so much a special feature of our show. In addition, we have collectors’ stalls, arena events, a Marquee with bar and live entertainment through the day and for the exhibitors in the evening. Saturday - Sunday, 15th - 16th August 2026 | 1940’s Weekender ‘1940s Weekender’ returns for our 4th annual event at ex-40s RAF station Sleap Airfield, nr Shrewsbury SY4 3HE. 40’s nostalgia for all the family to enjoy. Aviation Museum, Warbird ‘Fly-In’s, Event Arena, Big Marquee with Seating, Model Aircraft, Trade Stalls, Food Stalls, Living History & Re-Enactment Groups, Military / Period Vehicles, Battle Skirmish (Allies vs Germans).
