US Army Engineers Construction Unit

1942 GMC CCKW 353 tipper.
Starts and drives great on 6v. Renovated just a few years ago and wants for nothing, being regularly serviced and maintained by a proper old school mechanic. Tires are like new and all works as it should. It has the first type grille and blackout light. There are very minor rust bubbles on the bottom of both doors, an easy repair (2 NOS doors at extra cost if you wish) £11,500 ono.
1942 Caterpillar D4 airfield Dozer with the scarce gantry and cable blade lift.
All works as it should, starts and sounds lovely, a nice piece to own and run. It always draws a crowd and it has won a prize at the last Duxford Military Vehicle show held a few years ago. £9750 ono.
1940s Onions MK1, model 3-4 box scraper.
This is a 4 yds cubic capacity leveller as supplied by Jack Olding & Co Ltd of Hatfield Herts.
It is possibly a 1947 dated piece but this model was used in this Country by the US Army Engineers during WW2. It has been renovated to work correctly and the tires are in good order. Lovely interesting piece with all original plates present and readable. £1200 ono.
1942 Fruehauf 8T US Army trailer.
Fully renovated to a fantastic standard. All new tires gaiter and inners.
Fully re-wired with new lights. All new wooden planking and ramps. I don't think you will find one this good and this complete anywhere for sale. £12750 ono.
All of these pieces are lovely and useable with no hidden horrors.
No expense spared to get them to this standard. Priced to sell but I would like it all to go as one lot.
You can view it near Peterborough Cambs or if you are going to the Flying Legends 2019 show at Duxford, you will be able to see it displayed for the 3rd year running as part of a larger exhibition. (Entry by payment, sorry!)
