1955 Land Rover Series One 86" Ministry of Supply & RAF

1955 S1 86". Runs and drives nicely.
Not for the purist as is indeed Trigger's Broom, but is a great way into Series One ownership.
Currently fitted with a 2.5 N/A diesel, which is in superb condition and purrs nicely.
2A Gearbox. S3 Axles. Chassis, bulkhead, footwells restored approx 10 years ago and still totally solid. Obv needs a bit of fettling here and there, but priced accordingly. Turner pto winch works perfectly. Overdrive works perfectly.
Been in our family for 50 years! Originally a Ministry of Supply Fire Tender at Boscombe Down, then RAF Akrotiri. Demobbed in 1970 and bought by my Father. Owned in our family ever since.
Passed to me when Dad passed away in the 80's. It's evolved over time but has always been loved.
Now back in the colours it had on release in 1970 but orignally a Poppy Red Fire tender. Still with it's original, and traceable, MoS PGK reg number.
