The M48A2 Armored Vehicle Launched Bridge is an absolutely unique armored vehicle with an M48 hull that is used for launching and retrieving a 63 ft. bridge. Weighing 128,000 pounds, only 400 bridge launchers and bridges were built.
- Engine: Continental AVDS-1790-2D; 12-cylinder, 4 cycle, 90° vee, supercharged diesel.
- The unit saw extensive service as will for the US Army but also overseas.
- Located in Minnesota USA.
