CMP Ford Canada F-60L Ambulance, 1943

Build on the 28th of October 1943. Serial No. 1592XX.
The vehicle outside is in good condition, the entire exterior paintwork has been stripped and re painted in olive drab. Vehicle has been dry stored for more than four decades. Underside in reasonably good condition but with light rust spots.
The loading area is still in its original condition with stretchers for four injured patients. In addition, the original drinking water tank, double-equipped warm air heating system, sliding windows with the original roller blinds and interior lighting, everything in good condition.
Vehicle is drivable on its own power; the Ford flathead V-8 engine runs very nicely. Ignition housing, distributor cap, and most ignition parts have been replaced by new old stock parts. engine is now running very sweetly. New 6-volt battery Provided with new oil and new oil filter and a new old stock oil filter housing and support. New petrol pump and filter. The brakes do not function and need to be reworked. The handbrake works properly. The entire exterior paintwork has been stripped and re painted in olive drab.
Vehicle is not registered. (no title).
This vehicle has been in long term storage. Because of downsizing large collection, there are also a number of individual Ford Canada parts available.
